Gift Recommendation System
The Problem: Choosing gifts is stressful, and most gifts end up forgotten in a closet.
The Idea: A recommendation system that builds a profile of the person and suggests gifts that mean something.

The Problem
People buy gifts under time pressure, with too little information about the person, and the result is a generic gift. The question: is this a real problem people would pay to solve?
The Hypothesis
If we can collect simple signals about the person (interests, life stage, your relationship), we can produce sharper recommendations than any generic list.
Research & Insights
Current stage: interviews with real gift buyers before the seasons, and analysis of how people actually decide.
